Caylin is 3 weeks old and we are so blessed by God! Thank You Jesus!
Mom and Dad brought a picture of Caylin to the race. I looked at Caylin's picture the whole way to and from the race.
The race was nothing like I thought it would be. Maybe 50 riders or more would show up. Less than 25 riders were in the Pro 1-3 field. This was the hardest race for me mainly because I took 9 days off the bike.
I wanted to stay at the front of the race and take the primes early just in case I didn't make it to the end of the race. Mr. Forbes told me to let Paul Martin have the primes, because Paul did all the work to keep us away.
I was very upset but in shock! I didn't care who was pulling us as long as I was on the front of the race! Paul and I split the 1st prime. Paul took the 2nd prime as Forbes told me not to win it. Forbes took the 3rd prime as I stayed behind with mouth closed.
Jelly Belly rider won the race, Heckman took 2nd, Braumberger 3rd and Paul still managed to nip me at the line.
Note to self: Someone once told me to be honest with the other racers tell them what your doing! Next time speak up!!!
